Development History
Invisible Atom received a workshop production at Festival Antigonish in 2004. The piece was nominated for two 2005 Robert E. Merritt Awards: Best Play by a Nova Scotian Playwright (Anthony Black), and Best Director (Ann-Marie Kerr). In June of 2005, it was featured in the UNO Festival of Solo Performances in Victoria, British Columbia and was produced in Halifax, at Neptune Studio Theatre in March 2006. It has played twice in Toronto, first as part of the Canadian Pavillion at the 2006 Summerworks Festival where it received an honorable mention for Best production in the Festival, and most recently in March of 2008, in co-production with Necessary Angel Theatre.
