Call for RBC Emerging Artist-in-Residence

2b has hosted an Emerging Artist-in-Residence for the past nine seasons. Through this program, artists are invited to observe and participate in rehearsal processes and are offered formal mentorship on their own creative projects. Click here for more information about the program’s history.

Residencies may focus on any aspect of theatre. We welcome applications from writers, directors, performers, designers and production personnel/ technicians. Candidates will have completed their first phase of formal training (undergraduate degree or equivalent) and have less than five years professional experience in theatre.

This is a part time paid position. The position is flexible and is shaped by the interests and needs of the successful candidate. 2b will support the successful candidate in developing additional funding applications, if they choose to do so. 2b is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from artists of diverse backgrounds.
