RBC Emerging Artist-in-Residence

2b has collaborated with emerging artists for the past nine seasons. Since 2012, we have run the RBC Emerging Artist-in-Residence program. Through this program, artists are invited to observe and participate in rehearsal processes and offered formal mentorship on their own creative projects.

Past emerging-artists-in-residence have worked on 2b productions in a variety of capacities, and have also received mentorship on their own projects. Depending on the candidate’s interests and experience, the position may also include an outreach and producing component.

Residencies may focus on any aspect of theatre. We welcome applications from writers, directors, performers, designers, and production personnel/ technicians. Candidates will have completed specialized training in their art form (not necessarily in academic institutions) and have less than five years professional experience in theatre.
