| 2b theatre company seeks candidates for a contract position: Arts Hub Coordinator. The successful candidate will complete a 9-week contract to support the 2b team in managing the building, improving office systems and organizing spaces throughout the building. The Arts Hub Coordinator will assist in day to day operations, service and maintenance of the new building and management of partner and community use. | Responsibilities: In collaboration with and support from staff (Artistic Director, Associate Artistic Director, General Manager, Administrative + Communications Manager), the Arts Hub Coordinator will be managing the building, improving office systems, and organizing spaces throughout the building through a wide range of responsibilities. Including: | ||||
| Support day to day operations, service and maintenance of the arts hub | ||||
| Organize Improve spaces throughout the arts hub (rehearsal/kitchenette area, lobby space) | ||||
| Support the management of rental activity | ||||
| Provide minor ongoing maintenance and repairs to the building | ||||
| Qualifications / Required Skills and Experience: The ideal candidate will: -Have detail oriented skills and and a passion for organization -Work well under pressure and within deadlines -Have proficiency with organizational tools in G-Suite; Google Drive, Docs, and Sheets -Be self-motivated and have confidence to work independently -Be a strong team player -Have good time management skills, and the ability to multitask and to prioritize tasks -Have the ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems -Have clean record-keeping and reporting skills -Have reliable transportation to and from the building at 6086 Quinpool Road -Have some knowledge of non-profit organizations and/or the arts community in Kjipuktuk/Halifax | ||||
