Thursday May 28, 5pm-7pm ADT (4pm EDT / 3pm CDT / 2pm MDT / 1pm PDT)
The Social Distancing Salon is back, and will continue every month we are in isolation.
Theatre and live performance are all about gathering and expression. These basic functions of our practice feel precious and tenuous in these strange times. In response, we’ve designed a digital forum for our community to connect, share work, and be together in creative space.
This is your invitation to the Social Distancing Salon.
Karen Gross, 2b’s Managing Producer, hosts a Zoom call where you have the chance to share from the comfort of your own home. Each participant has five minutes to share with the group. You can share a poem, a song, a painting, a dance, or a recipe. You can share something you made, something you’re working on or learning how to do, or something by another artist that’s been inspiring you or giving you solace. This is about staying connected to who we are and what we do, and finding different ways to share creative spirit with each other.
To sign up for a five minute spot, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
You don’t have to share art to participate. If you’d like to attend as an audience member, join us starting at 5 pm ADT onwards by clicking on the Zoom link. You are welcome to drop in and out at any time.
